Stellenbeschreibung
* Integration and Instrumentation of wind tunnel models
* Integration of mechanical and electromechanical components
* Strain gage application
* Sensor integration
* Support model / calibration assembly concept generation in coordination with relevant stakeholders both inside and outside of aerodynamics
* Maintenance and repair of wind tunnel models and measurement technology / data acquisition systems
* Assistance to measurement technology, electronics and wind tunnel engineers with manual tasks in the aerodynamics laboratory and during wind tunnel tests (occasional travel)
* Management of tool and inventory stock
* Support the quality assurance of outsourced components (participation in buy-off on site)
* Support model fabrication using in-house 3D print
* Contribution to test preparation
* Contribution to wind tunnel test execution in external wind tunnel facilities

Anforderungsprofil
* Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
* Alternatively: Practical training as Electrical and Electronics Technician or Precision Mechanics with a background in Electronics with long-term background
* Good knowledge about and experience in the application of measurement technology typically used in the wind tunnel test environment is mandatory
* Hands-on attitude in the Aerodynamics Laboratory and during wind tunnel tests as well as experience in model handling should be available
* Very goog knowledge of using MS-Office
* Knowledge and experience in 3D printing is an advantage
* Fluent in German and Englisch
* Willingness to travel (3x per year 1-4 weeks / USA, NL and within Germany)
