Responsibilities
You will support the Controlling Team in Germany and Penang and will be directly involved in the day-to-day operations:
1. Data Management & Reporting: Consolidate and prepare financial data from multiple systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and improved data flows. Support business‑wide reporting and take ownership of selected areas of the monthly financial close.
2. Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and analyze operating‑cost plans, forecasts, budgets, and profitability models for customer and R&D projects. Prepare solid business cases, challenge assumptions, and generate insights to support strategic decisions.
3. Business Partnering: Act as a finance partner for teams across Germany and Penang, gradually assuming responsibility for local financial support and providing reliable guidance to stakeholders.
4. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process enhancements, data quality improvements, and more efficient reporting and analysis practices.
Qualifications
5. 4–7+ years of professional experience in controlling or business finance roles
6. Bachelor's degree in Economics or related field
7. Proven ability to manage complex datasets and improve data flows, reporting structures, and financial processes
8. Strong financial modeling, planning, forecasting, and business‑case development skills
9. Ability to challenge assumptions, identify risks, and provide actionable insights to business partners
10. High proficiency in Excel, reporting systems, and possibly SQL or BI tools (e.g., MSTR)
11. Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills in an international environment
12. Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany for onboarding or team collaboration
