* Collaborate with management colleagues to standardise shift practices and enhance operational excellence.
About the Role:
You'll work on the night shift at one of our sites, focusing on maintaining a productive environment. Your main responsibilities include owning a culture of safety, upholding quality and shift performance standards, and overseeing process improvements within your area.
A typical day is varied, involving routine team management, daily operational duties, process improvement, and wide-scale operational contingency tasks. You'll also serve as a role model and mentor to new managers.

We're Amazon Extra Large (AMXL), a specialist service handling heavy items like furniture and large home appliances. Our team manages every aspect, from supply chain fulfilment to delivery and returns. We offer extra customer care, including unpacking, assembling, installing, and taking away old items where needed.
We have ambitious plans to expand our centres and stations across the UK and Europe. While some staff work night shifts, most work during the day. Our diverse team includes people from operations, supply chain, business intelligence, and programme management, all contributing to growing this part of the business.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A degree
* Relevant experience in people management
* Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
* Data analysis skills
* Advanced English proficiency
Preferred qualifications include experience working with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques, working in logistics, and using MS Office software.
