My client in the Greater Bonn Region, a leader in their field, is seeking to appoint a Group Compliance Officer. This preventive role reports directly to the Group General Counsel and plays a central part in developing and safeguarding the organisation’s global compliance framework.
Key responsibilities
* Serve as a trusted advisor to management and business units on compliance matters.
* Develop and implement preventive compliance measures across the Group.
* Design and deliver training and awareness initiatives to strengthen compliance culture.
* Monitor and anticipate regulatory developments, providing proactive guidance.
* Collaborate with international stakeholders to ensure consistent application of policies and processes.
Candidate profile
* Academic background in Law, Business or Economics.
* Prior experience within the Big 4, consulting, or international companies.
* Solid knowledge of corporate compliance topics, including Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption, and Compliance Management Systems.
* Full professional fluency in English and German.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to act as a trusted business partner.
* Willingness to be on site three times per week in the Greater Bonn Region.
