Global Sales Controller

About the Role
* You will lead a team of business line controllers and report directly to the CFO of the company. Additionally, you are a Finance Business Partner and part of the global management team of the Business Line Base Material.
* In this role, you will be responsible for global sales controlling across all five business lines, as well as global business line P&Ls, across locations in Europe, USA, and Asia.
* You drive the global budget planning, forecasts, consolidation, and analysis of current performance.
Your Responsibilities
* Evaluate and explain deviations and trends, creating insights as well as developing recommendations for action and countermeasures.
* Financially evaluate strategic options and major investment projects.
* Ensure data quality and optimize international controlling processes.
Your Profile
* A degree in business administration, industrial engineering, business informatics, or a comparable field of study with a focus on finance and controlling.
* Several years of professional and management experience in business controlling in the global manufacturer industry.
* Fully proficient in MS Office applications, BI/AO, and HANA applications, as well as good knowledge of SAP.
* Proficiency in Business English.
* Strong analytical thinking, a self-starter, and high achiever.
* Strong communication – and stake-holder management skills.
