Fast-growing investor-backed Care Services Group is expanding its management team with a co-CEO.
About the Role
The co-CEO will be responsible for guiding the company's strategic direction, operational excellence, and financial performance alongside the existing CEO. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scaling businesses, particularly within investor-backed environments such as private equity-backed portfolio companies or investment firms.
Key Responsibilities
* Co-develop and implement the company's strategic growth plan to enhance revenue, profitability, and market share
* Lead high-impact initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions and operational improvements
* Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement to stay competitive
* Oversee business operations to optimize efficiency, scalability, and execution of strategic priorities
* Maintain transparent communication and alignment with investors, board members, and financial partners
* Represent the company at industry events, partnerships, and negotiations
* Build and lead a high-performing executive team, promoting accountability and collaboration
* Cultivate a company culture aligned with long-term strategic goals
* Mentor and develop organizational team members
Candidate Profile
* Proven experience as a CEO, co-CEO, or senior executive in a private equity-backed growth company, or as an investor/operator in private equity
* Experience in the caregiving or healthcare services industry is a plus
* Expertise in scaling businesses, M&A, post-merger integration, and operational leadership
* Experience managing investor relationships and executing value creation strategies
* Deep understanding of financial metrics, EBITDA optimization, and P&L management
* Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-growth environments with a results-driven approach
* Native-level proficiency in German and fluent English required
