For the externally funded Humboldt Professorship at the earliest possible date. We are offering a full-time position for a maximum of 2 years (corresponding to the project’s duration) until 31 October 2027. The successful candidate will benefit from the stimulating environment and facilities of the Cluster of Excellence "Mathematics Münster: Dynamics – Geometry – Structure".
Your tasks:
* collaboration in research and teaching, contributing to the Oberseminar “Topics in General Relativity”
* independent research in the analysis of partial differential equations
Our expectations:
* Candidates must have completed, or be about to complete, their PhD in atopic related to the analysis of partial differential equations.
* A strong working knowledge in hyperbolic equations and Lorentzian geometry is required.
* Experience with one or more of the following would be desirable: Diracequation on curved backgrounds, Strichartz estimates
* Good English communication skills are required.
* A high level of ambition for, commitment to and enjoyment in scientific work is desirable.
