Business Development Manager – Clinical Trial Services (Germany-Based)
Our client is a fast-growing, international provider of clinical trial support services expanding their footprint in Germany. They're looking for a Business Development Manager with a strong understanding of the clinical development landscape and a proven ability to drive new business within the pharmaceutical and biotech space.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying and closing opportunities with pharma/biotech clients, specialising in the secure storage, distribution, and logistics of biological samples for clinical trials and research programs across Europe and globally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and engage prospective pharma, biotech, and CRO clients needing biorepository or sample logistics services
* Own the sales cycle from prospecting to closing and onboarding
* Promote services including long-term storage, cold chain logistics, sample handling, and compliance-based distribution
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline through outbound efforts, referrals, and networking
* Represent our client at industry conferences and client meetings
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* 3–10+ years in business development or sales within biobanking, clinical logistics, or related life sciences services
* Solid understanding of sample lifecycle needs in clinical trials and research
* Experience selling into biotech, pharma, or CRO clients in Europe
* Fluent in German and English
* Strong hunter mentality and comfort in consultative B2B selling
