* Lead technical development of cabin interior and cargo solutions from initial concept through certification and delivery
* Ensure innovative cabin designs meet safety standards, regulatory requirements, cost, weight and reliability targets
* Define detailed cabin interior requirements based on company standards and customer preferences
* Coordinate specification development and liaise closely with design teams to create state‑of‑the‑art cabin environments
* Perform market analysis of current and emerging cabin products; recommend best options for evaluation
* Conduct technical evaluation of shortlisted suppliers and recommend implementation solutions
* Monitor and report supplier performance
* Develop mitigation plans for impacted projects and perform critical path analysis
* Prepare and implement work‑around plans to ensure successful completion of project milestones
* Coordinate between project management, engineering departments and external partners
* Review project and budget status; manage documentation and maintain integrated master schedules
* Support development of technical solutions for in‑service and future fleet issues
Profil
* Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
* 10+ years of experience in the aviation industry
* Extensive expertise in Cabin Interiors and modern cabin design concepts
* Strong understanding of certification and regulatory requirements
* Experience with aircraft development programs and program management
* Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
* Fluent in English; German skills would be beneficial
