Role summary: Sitting within the Continental Europe Leadership team this Account Director will be leading the German Account Management team and will provide insights by sharing thought leadership with our customers. Germany is our second-largest revenue country within EMEA region and one of the most significant globally. This underscores the strategic relevance of the territory and the critical impact of the role. You will tailor and execute strategy for the Continental Europe German segment, whilst providing customer insights to customer proposition and sales readiness on trends to drive the voice of the customer. We are looking for an experienced people leader with a proven track record of exceeding financial goals. Energy and a positive attitude are key attributes as you proactively collaborate with colleagues and coach and develop the team to build deep relationships with key clients. What you'll be doing: Provide strategic and operational leadership to a team of experienced Account Managers covering clients across the buy side, sell side and corporate to meet sales, revenue, retention and organisational objectives. Ensure execution of the team on sales initiatives to meet key financial metrics Drive in-depth account, territory and opportunity planning using LSEG' s sales methodology Forecast sales & revenue to support the Market Head Drive organisational objectives to support LSEG strategy Develop and nurture relationships with senior contacts at our customer base Influence functional strategy and, where relevant, participate in development of product/division strategy. Design and develop sales strategies to increase market share and sustainable revenue growth. Hold Senior leadership responsibility for a portion of the Continental Europe Market, and contribute to overall market success as a member of the LT. Proactively identify, define and solve most complex problems that impact the management and business direction.
