Sponsor (m/f/d) Defense in the Strategy Department
Your Tasks
1. Lead the Strategy for the deployment of HOCHTIEF´s capabilities in the Defense Sector
2. Establish and strategically develop partnerships with key public and private actors in the defense sector
3. Lead the Defense Steering Committee at HOCHTIEF
4. Identification of new market opportunities with a focus on Germany, complemented by HOCHTIEF's strategic defense markets in Europe
5. Representation of the company to stakeholders, investors, partners and the public
6. Responsibility for the analysis of procurement processes and tenders in the defense industry
7. Responsibility for contract negotiations and completion of projects of strategic importance
8. Responsibility for compliance with safety-relevant standards, compliance requirements and controls
9. Collaboration with other relevant vertical departments and group companies
Your Profile
10. Successfully completed studies, e.g. in the field of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, industrial engineering or comparable
11. Successful long-term military career or comparable long-term professional experience in the defense sector
12. Professional experience in the construction industry or in the construction-related sector
13. Sound management experience (ideally as a managing director (m/f/d) or similar)
14. Ideally, existing network in the public and private defense sector
15. High degree of strategic thinking, negotiation skills and persuasiveness
16. Strong communication skills and confident appearance
17. Fluent in German and English
