The role is providing to the organizations and internal customers high-level support and bringing proactive, modern and sustainable solutions to our office locations. The FacilitiesCluster Manager is also playing a major roleco-piloting our sustainability journey:Protecting what’s vital!
You’ll make this job your own, but here are some key responsibilities:
1. Lead, manage and develop further the local facilities team in different sites throughout Europe
2. Develop a customer focused culture (internal and external) within the teams and thrive for improving the user experience of Ecolab associates.
3. Managed different external vendors in the Facility space on a regional level
4. Ensure reliable and safe operation of Ecolab Office Facilities like mailrooms, receptions, restaurants, and associated services including with the procurement of supplies required to run the office.
5. Coordinate installation, repair, preventive maintenance, for our facilities across the area of responsibility.
6. Ensure we stay compliant with Environmental, Health and Safety regulations.
7. Implement and maintain effective sustainability programs (., waste reduction, energy conservation programs, promote decarbonated/ low carbon transportation, car fleet electrification,
8. Active member of Facility Safety Management Review Board engaged with Safety Champions.
9. Management of landlord relationships.
10. Respond to emergency situations and provide local procedures and solutions to support issue resolution and continuity plans.
11. Experience in managing external vendors (cleaning, maintenance, reception services)
12. Prepare the annualbudgets & CAPEX plans and monitor actual expenses against budget in partnership with Business Analyst.
13. Plan, manage, and execute construction projects in the Cluster
Whatyou’llneed:
14. 5-10 years of working experience in a similar position ideally in a fast-paced international environment
15. A degree in Facility Management, Architecture, Engineering or Project Management
16. Experience in Project Management and large-scale construction projects is beneficial
17. Experience with the implementation of Facility Vendors on a regional Level
18. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in both English and German or Dutch, with the ability to present the message to a wide range of audiences. Fluency in another language is a plus.
