KG Organization Gas Services Business Unit Central Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day As a Risk Manager within the Procurement organization for Gas Turbines, you will play a key role in ensuring transparency, control, and proactive mitigation along our global supply chain. You will partner closely with Strategic Procurement, Engineering, Project Management, and Supplier Quality to identify risks in complex turbine projects and ensure robust mitigation strategies. Your work supports Siemens Energy’s commitment to delivering reliable, sustainable, and high‑performance gas turbine solutions to customers worldwide.How You’ll Make an Impact
10. Risk Identification & Assessment: Identify and evaluate commercial, technical, operational, geopolitical, and supply‑chain risks across the full gas turbine procurement lifecycle, using methods such as RIC, FMEA, and scenario analyses.
11. Risk Mitigation & Management: Define and monitor risk mitigation strategies with cross‑functional teams; track supplier performance, escalate potential disruptions early and drive countermeasures.
12. Project & Portfolio Support: Provide risk transparency for bid and execution projects, as well as risk inpus for project reviews, governance meetings, and steering committees.
13. Supplier & Market Monitoring: Analyze global market trends impacting turbine components and assess supplier risk exposure; support supplier qualification and development activities.
14. Process & Compliance: Ensure compliance with Siemens Energy risk management standards, procurement guidelines, and audits; contribute to continuous improvement of frameworks, tools, and reporting.
15. Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and present risk reports, dashboards, and recommendations to senior management; facilitate workshops and alignment sessions across business functions.
What You Bring
16. University Degree in Business Administration, or similar.
17. Long-term experience in risk management and or strategic procurement, ideally in the energy or turbomachinery sector.
18. Confident in PowerPoint preparation and presentation to senior management
19. Extensive experience Excel skills, including the capability to analyze, structure, and prepare complex data sets in a clear and decision relevant format
20. Experience with risk management tools and methods (, RIC, FMEA, Monte Carlo analysis beneficial).
21. Ability to analyze complex issues and translate them into actionable insights for decision-makers.
22. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and moderation skills as well as high sense of ownership, and the ability to influence in a global environment.
23. Fluent in English; German is a plus.
