Dartmouth have been mandated by a high-growth PE-backed Business Services company in their search for a English and German speaking Corporate Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Market Information & Strategy: Conduct market assessments of countries, sectors and adjacent or new market growth opportunities.
* Mergers and Acquisitions: Assist in the ongoing refinement of the M&A strategy and acquisition criteria, develop a pipeline of potential acquisition target across all countries, making approaches and supporting on end-to-end M&A process.
* Partnerships and Strategic Alliances: Support the identification and structuring of strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and alliances.
* New Business Development Projects: Conduct market analysis and strategic assessment of new offers in particular segments.
Qualifications:
* A high calibre individual - Engaging and enthusiastic, great communications skills, with a can-do attitude and a capacity for hard work at speed together with analytical and problem-solving skills
* At least 3 years’ experience in M&A, gained either in an investment bank/ boutique, or in another Corporate Development role within a highly-acquisitive business
* Proven deal experience and familiarisation with the end-to-end M&A process – research, origination through to completion
* Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Business, Economics, or a related field preferred
* Fluent English and German speaker, (also having Central Eastern European country language capability would be a bonus)
* Ideally based in Frankfurt, with locations such as Vienna, Dusseldorf, and London also considered
