A leading renewable energy company is expanding its in-house technical expertise to support a growing portfolio of photovoltaic systems. They are seeking experienced Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Electrical Engineers to join our high-performing technical team. You will be responsible for ensuring the proactive and reactive maintenance of over 290 photovoltaic systems with an installed capacity exceeding 450MWp across Germany.
In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining high asset availability, optimizing system performance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. You will take on state-level responsibilities, lead improvement projects, and collaborate closely with the O&M team to maximize long-term operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Electrical installation, commissioning, and maintenance of photovoltaic systems, including troubleshooting and repair work.
Planning and executing photovoltaic tasks, such as:
2. Technical clarifications, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
3. Identifying and resolving faults (e.g., fuse or cable damage).
4. Developing and implementing inspection programs (recurring and ad hoc).
5. Reviewing and creating work instructions for maintenance and repair.
Leading special projects, including:
6. Performance improvement initiatives.
7. Mobilization for in-house maintenance and repairs.
8. Ensuring compliance with HSE standards in all operations.
9. Participating in on-call duties as required.
Skills & Experience Required
10. Qualified electrician or electrical engineer (vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, or related field).
11. Switching authorization (Schaltberechtigung).
12. Experience in maintenance, repair, or technical management of PV systems (preferred).
