Location Germany - Frankfurt Main assignments: Independent planning, preparation, execution, and evaluation of laboratory tests and test series for the development of inorganic paints implementation of product adaptations supervision of products until transfer to production creation of QA specifications; processing of complaints; support of production Creating and presenting the developed test plans for various development projects Acquiring and reading the available technical literature on the respective projects Compiling documents as well as auxiliary and operating materials (e.g., solvents, raw materials, standard samples, etc.) Conceptual collaboration on new test procedures If necessary, adapting test equipment in consultation with the laboratory manager. Preparing, executing, and evaluating complex preparative tasks Checking technical documentation Performing, analyzing, and evaluating laboratory work and tests Conducting and evaluating production and/or customer trials Creating data and documents Supervising trainees Preparing and conducting product-related presentations and training materials Required skills: At least a master's degree in materials science, inorganic chemistry, or a related technical field. 1–2 years of professional experience, preferably in research and development of glass, glass ceramics, or ceramics. Knowledge of material analysis and validation using techniques such as scanning electron microscopy (SEM), XRD, XRF, thermal analysis, hot stage microscopy, and dilatometry.
