As Service Delivery Manager (SDM), you will act as a single point of contact for all activities related to your assigned accounts. You will develop and maintain excellent customer relationships at all levels, ensure all contractual service levels are met, customer satisfaction is achieved, and maintain commercial control. The role also involves managing budgets and P&L for your accounts.
You will be responsible for retaining existing business, exploring new growth opportunities, working with sales and bid support teams to create opportunities, and providing data for bid documents.
Responsibilities:
* Serve as the essential link between A & O and the client
* Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships
* Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts
* Manage all aspects of the A&O portfolio related to contracted deliverables
* Conduct regular service reviews and development meetings with clients
* Expand relationships within the account
* Engage and manage service partners both in the UK and internationally
* Support leadership in restructuring, divestitures, mergers, and acquisitions
* Ensure documentation such as contracts, service descriptions, and change notes are created and maintained
* Negotiate and manage amendments to contracts
* Manage third-party relationships effectively
* Work with project/transition teams for new business implementation
* Perform other activities that enhance service or financial performance within authority limits
* Comply with company processes and support audits and quality assurance
Essential skills:
* Experience in a customer-facing account management role in IT, delivering high service quality
* Experience with IT services
* Degree-level education
* Experience managing third-party suppliers
* Proficiency in MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Proactive, with initiative and a desire to progress
* Organized, with good time management and prioritization skills
* Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs
