Role Summary:
We are currently recruiting a Financial Analyst to join our European Headquarters office. The successful candidate will primarily support the EMEA Power Tools Division and collaborate closely with department managers across key central functions including Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Quality.
The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, involving regular interaction with various departments and finance teams across the organization.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support the monthly closing process, ensuring accurate and timely financial results through active management and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
* Prepare and deliver complex monthly reporting, including actuals and year-to-go forecasts with clear insights.
* Analyse and present monthly performance to the departmental managers, identify key trends, potential risks and opportunities to support informed decision-making.
* Support the annual budgeting process, including planning, reporting and presentation.
* Design and develop new financial reports and analytics to enhance visibility, drive profitability and strategic decision making.
* Participate in cross-functional projects, such as internal process optimization, cost saving initiatives, and control enhancements.
Requirements:
* A strong analytical mindset with good understanding of financial KPI's and performance metrics.
* Process-oriented with a logical and inquisitive way of working, competent in identifying efficiencies and improvements.
* Proven knowledge in building and managing relationships with senior stakeholders across functions.
* Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with knowledge in presenting complex information clearly.
* Strong time management skills with the willingness to meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Prior experience in Operations Finance or Manufacturing is highly desirable.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
* Experience with SAP FI/CO modules.
* Background in FMCG or a similar fast-paced, product-driven sector is preferred.
