Zur Verstärkung unseres Teams am Standort Norderstedt suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt einen Manager Accounting - Finance Controller (m/w/d).
Der Manager Accounting - Finance Controller (m/w/d) ist verantwortlich für das Controlling zweier juristischer Einheiten sowie die finanzielle Betreuung von zwei Produktionsstandorten (Norderstedt und Dresden) in Deutschland.
1. Controller role for 2 legal entities, 2 plants and multiple BUs and corporate functions for Germany
2. Perform month-end, quarter end and year end closes in line with US Corporate and local statutory guidelines and due dates.
3. Ensure timely and accuracy of financial results including preparation and data file to be submitted to US Corporate.
4. Perform Financial statement reviews, oversight and reporting for the applicable legal entities.
5. Manage all Corporate & Statutory Tax obligations as well as Statutory Annual Reporting and income tax returns in cooperation with external auditors and advisors. Statutory reporting include impairment testing of financial assets. Oversee VAT tax reporting in conjunction with indirect tax. Handle transfer pricing queries in cooperation with Corp Tax.
6. Coordinate with HR, and treasury to ensure correct and timely payrolls and entries into financial accounting.
7. Ensure compliance with local fiscal obligations as well as SOX and Internal Controls.
8. Proactively inform the EMEAI Controller and management on financial and business results, relevant activities in finance/accounting, and any risks or issues to be addressed.
9. Support directly the EMEAI Controller with integration tasks, finance projects and ad hoc analysis as required to improve the status quo.
10. Business partner with other finance workstreams (Global Supply Chain, Facilities, Commercial Finance, FP&A, SBS, General Accounting and Tax departments), GSC, HR and sales teams for the countries responsible for.
11. Provide local statutory expertise and support for decision making relating to business restructure and transfer pricing changes.
12. Provide input and support for work instructions, controls as well as hands-on support for all accounting functions in accordance with SW Corporate policies and local statutory guidelines.
13. Participate and provide guidance and statutory compliance for system changes and implementations.
14. Monitor KPIs and Service level agreements relating to timely vendor payments and receivables collections to ensure optimal cash flow and credit standing in the business community. This includes handling collection agency and enforcement issues in cooperation with AP.
15. Provide financial guidance to local accountants and shared service team.
16. Influence and operate in a complex matrix organization.
17. Bachelors degree (BAcc, BAE, BFin, BEcon)
18. Relevant local tax GAAP experience and training (Bilanzbuchalter)
19. German local GAAP, US GAAP or IFRS knowledge (preferred)
20. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint
21. Must possess 5+ years of finance/accounting experience in international companies and manufacturing environment.
22. Advantage to have 3+ years of experience working with Oracle ERP accounting
23. Must have strong command of English, written and spoken, can participate or lead meetings in English. Required German language skill.
24. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
25. Can communicate financials and related issues in clear business language.
26. Ability to work constructively at all organizational levels, from plant operators to senior executives.
27. Drive and assertiveness to achieve work deadline and performance goals.
