Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform repairs, maintenance inspections, maintain and optimize processes, tools as well as machines and systems within the area of responsibility Pass on information on deviations to the next supervisor Keep machines and the workplace, and the surrounding environment clean Co-responsible for creating tool condition reports Timely inspection and approval of tools for production Responsible for the proper documentation of tools Maintain spare parts in the SAP system Report necessary spare parts procurement and install and adjust spare parts Commission new tools Education Successfully completed vocational training as a tool mechanic Work Experience Professional experience in a comparable position Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities High level of reliability, conscientiousness, and sense of responsibility Willingness to work in shifts High-quality awareness Careful and independent working style Team player High safety awareness West embraces diversity and equality of opportunity.
