We are seeking a highly skilled candidate to join our team as a Quantum Computing Trainer and Consultant. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering quantum computing courses and hands-on training sessions specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Key responsibilities include developing tailored consulting services for SMEs in the selection of quantum computing hardware platforms, algorithm design, and hybrid architectures. Additionally, you will contribute to raising awareness of the potential of quantum computing among SMEs through targeted public outreach, planning and executing events, workshops, and networking activities.
As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on high-performance HPC systems and contribute to the QUICS project, which aims to provide low-threshold, secure, and reliable access to quantum resources for SMEs via an online portal.
Requirements for this position include a completed university degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Computational Science, or a related field, good knowledge in quantum computing, willingness to acquire domain-specific expertise, proven track record in designing and delivering training/education programs, and fluency in written and spoken English and German.
