We are seeking a talented, motivated, and passionate sustainability professional to join our consulting team. The primary function of this role is to conduct and manage projects related to environmental Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Portfolio Sustainability Assessment (PSA).
What you will do
You will help our clients create more sustainable products and operate more sustainably. Your work will focus on assisting clients with product and corporate sustainability measurement and reporting, including Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) using our LCA FE software and other sustainability projects. Activities will involve direct project management and client interaction. Your day-to-day activities may include:
1. Managing multiple consulting projects on LCA, PSA, and other sustainability strategies.
2. Creating LCA models in our LCA FE software.
3. Writing ISO 14040/44 conformant reports.
4. Developing and applying Portfolio Sustainability Assessment frameworks per WBCSD guidance.
5. Manipulating data using Excel or other data formats.
6. Analyzing energy, water, waste, air emissions, and costs.
7. Preparing and presenting project results.
8. Ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
9. Collaborating with team members across specialties and regions.
10. Developing and maintaining client relationships.
11. Travel may be required up to 20% of the time.
Your Profile
• Undergraduate or Master’s degree in engineering, science, or a related field.
• Passion for sustainability, environmental systems, life cycle thinking, and climate change.
• Experience managing small to medium projects.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with curiosity and research ability.
• Basic programming experience is a plus.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Desire to promote environmental sustainability.
