Job Title:
Global Logistics & Procurement COE Leader (m/f/d)
Summary:
In this role you will be responsible for all Global Logistics & Procurement process standardization and optimization activities including Service Improvements and Functional Cost Reduction targets through the use of continuous improvement and digitization tools and methodologies. You will define Roadmap for Procurement & Logistics Projects, lead Procurement & Logistics Improvement Projects and work with other functions involved to charter projects.
Responsibilities Include:
1. Ensure processes are in line with Momentive integrity, Safety, Revenue recognition policies and SOX
2. Use Lean Six Sigma tools to optimize order management processes and to identify projects for metric / process improvement
3. Take responsibility for process simplification and process linkage with Global operating processes while retaining regional differences by initiation or involvement of regional or global projects
4. Drive actions to improve service to our customers globally (both internal and external customers)
5. Work with Procurement, legal, finance, and key stakeholders in defining procurement processes and ensuring system controls, requisitioner and buyer training are completed and maintained as new processes are implemented
6. Identify, prioritize and project manage process optimizations to support improvement per AOP
7. Improve current global logistics & procurement processes and drive digitization
8. Implement global 4PL partner/ Strategy
9. Enable global Logistics Information systems through use of 4PL and key Logistics Service Providers to obtain Cost and Service visibility at all levels (BU,Global, Regional,Plant views)
10. Improve current global logistics design to future world class design using: RFID, EDI, TMS, and other available Logistics Optimization Tools
11. Take responsibility for Procurement metrics creation & management to drive process improvement and improve service levels.
Qualifications:
The following are required for the role
12. Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or supply chain topics
13. Long term experience in manufacturing and supply chain leadership role within a multinational chemicals company, preferably with procurement experience
14. Certifications in Lean and Six Sigma
15. Strong analytical, decision and strategic thinking skills with an attention to detail
16. Demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders in a matrix environment, to lead and motivate x-functional
17. Outstanding interpersonal skills with ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
18. Highly motivated and energetic with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
19. Demonstrated project management and/or time management skills
20. Fluency in English and German
The following are preferred for the role
21. CSCP, CPSM, CPIM, or similar Certifications from APICS or ISM is a plus
22. Proficient knowledge of SAP, Zemeter, advanced scheduling software (MIMI), and advanced planning models (Arkieva)
23. Proficient knowledge in Procurement Processes
24. Proficient in Excel Macro
