Role Overview
As a Dual Student in Electrical and Information Engineering (m/f/d), you will combine your academic studies at HAW Hamburg or TUHH with practical training at NACOS Marine. You will gain broad exposure to engineering, software, and project-related activities within maritime automation and navigation projects.
Working alongside experienced engineers, project managers, and field service teams, you will contribute to real customer projects while developing a strong technical foundation and practical understanding of complex systems used in modern vessels.
Key Responsibilities
* Support engineering activities within ongoing customer and development projects
* Assist with electrical and mechanical drawings and technical documentation
* Contribute to software engineering tasks using company-specific software solutions
* Support process analysis and interface testing for software and automation systems
* Assist project managers with planning, coordination, and documentation activities
* Support field service activities during commissioning and service assignments
* Participate in national and occasional European travel as part of project and service work
Key Requirements
* General qualification for university entrance (Abitur)
* Enrollment or confirmed admission to the Electrical and Information Engineering dual study program at HAW Hamburg
* Strong interest in electrical engineering, automation, and software systems
* Basic technical understanding and willingness to learn complex systems
* Structured, reliable, and proactive working style
* Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
* Willingness to travel within Germany and Europe as required
