Responsibilities:
1. Demonstrate technical expertise to facilitate HCP medical education programs including driving the agenda and content.
2. Know the market positioning and strengths/weaknesses of key competitors.
3. Collaborate with key opinion leaders to design and facilitate educational materials.
4. Define key learning objectives for training curriculum.
5. Lead cross-functional teams.
6. Drive 3rd party contract negotiations.
7. Coordinate program design and objectives with faculty.
8. Own the commercialization and execution of the overall medical education options offered by the division.
9. Develop, facilitate and/or participate in training for sales and/or Marketing employees .
10. Analyse metrics and assesses the effectiveness of education methods, costs, and results.
11. Be part of the creation of MedEd programs, strat plan and vision, develope collaboration with marketing leaders to analyse business orientation and new product launch. Communicate short to mid-term portfolio strategy to MedEd to gain organisational alignment.
12. Define performance criteria used for evaluating business trends and activities.
13. Develop network of key opinion leaders (KOL) to support platform offerings and assists in developing communication strategy for target customer audience.
14. Recommend and implement plans for medical education commercialization, voice of customer and onsite programs.
15. Allocate resources (including people) and optimize the value of MedEd programs aligned with business objectives.
16. Manage current educational resources and develop new tools/platforms for product training events and workshops to enhance quality of education and training.
What you need?
17. Scientific degree or equivalent experience
18. 5 years + of work experience required within the Medical Device industry
19. Orthopaedic experience is essential
20. Prior experience within a clinical role/s
21. Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills with the ability build strong relationships with customers and KOL’s
22. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
23. Be a curious thinker who can challenge the status quo
24. Solid commercial acumen
25. Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
26. Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority
27. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
28. Fluent in English.
