IT Site Administrator (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities with us
* You are the technical contact person for all IT-related activities, inquiries, or problems affecting the location in both the business and process environments
* You will be responsible for administering the local server landscape (Windows servers, virtual environment), maintaining the local network (switches, WLAN, VLAN, firewalls), and managing the system architecture at the site
* You will be responsible for the technical and administrative management of computers, user and access rights in accordance with internal guidelines, and you will manage and monitor the site's hardware and software, including purchasing
* You will be responsible for first and second level support for software and hardware, as well as preventive maintenance for the business systems and applications used in Hildesheim
* You will maintain and monitor backup and recovery processes and keep up to date with new work requirements and technical developments
* You will carry out assigned IT tasks independently and participate in internal departmental initiatives within the framework of specified processes and standards
What we expect from you
* A successfully completed minimum of three years of training in the IT field (e.g., IT specialist [m/f/d] system integration) or comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
* In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and security; this includes Windows client and server operating systems / Active Directory, group policies / network technology (VLANs, NAT, Cisco IPT, VMWare, printers, IOS & Android) / virtualization
* Very good knowledge of English, teamwork skills, and communication skills round out your profile
