Your Tasks
* Drive the development of an Earth observation constellation satellite
* Close collaboration with the Engineering and PA/QA team to perform system engineering tasks
* Preparation/support of proposals and studies for missions derived from the Standard Platform and close collaboration with the pre-development department to ensure the platform implementation meets the mission objectives
* Preparation of necessary documentation to address the Standard Platform like requirements, development plans Implementation and management of project schedule and budget
* Definition and execution of project goals in collaboration with and according to company strategy, future missions’ needs
Your Qualifications
* Degree in aerospace engineering or equivalent
* Good understanding of space missions and their constraints and challenges
* Good understanding of satellite and platform design
* Ideally knowledge of the particular constraints and challenges of earth observation missions
* Highly proactive working style
* Accustomed to work in teams
* Ability to self-organize the work and react on changes during the project
* Good organizational skills
* Working level proficiency in written and spoken English. German and other language skills advantageous
