Your tasks
1. First point of contact for our customers' technical teams and interface with the development teams
2. Technical advice on the camera families, accessories and our software packages (SDKs and APIs)
3. Supporting customers with the integration of cameras and optimization of their applications, if necessary also on site
4. Processing various support requests from our customers (by telephone or in writing), sales staff and distributors in the pre- and post-sales phase
5. Focus on image processing software, camera technology, electrical engineering and optics
6. Creation of programming examples and error analyses
7. Intensive cooperation with sales, product development and product management with regard to customer requirements and functional requests
Your profile
8. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent relevant experience in technical support
9. Experience in programming in several languages (C, C++, C#, Python) and in dealing with different operating systems (e.g. Windows, Linux, macOS or QNX)
10. Know-how in the development of embedded software (e.g. with V4L2, GStreamer, Libargus)
11. Analytical, problem-solving and communication skills as well as customer orientation
12. German and English language skills (C1)
13. Organizational talent and effective time management for simultaneous processing or prioritization of topics
14. Motivation for continuous further training in line with our portfolio and our customer service concept
15. Willingness to travel locally and abroad (2-4 weeks per year) to trade fairs, customers and other company locations
