Perform TCAD simulations using tools such as Synopsys and Silvaco to analyze and optimize semiconductor device performance
Apply knowledge of semiconductor device physics to design and simulate CMOS technologies and semiconductor power technologies
Conduct FEM (Finite Element Method) simulations to analyze thermal, mechanical, and electromagnetic behavior of semiconductor devices and systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate simulation results into the design and development of semiconductor devices and systems
Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in semiconductor device simulation and design, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve simulation methodologies and tools.
Perform TCAD simulations to support research and development of our next-generation technologies
Actively drive innovation and provide technical advice for management decisions
As a Lead Principal Engineer Concept Development HV Devices, you take new challenges without knowing the right path to an eventual solution in advance is not a problem for you. A degree in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Physics, Microelectronics or comparable; a PhD would be a plus
At least 10 years of working experience in semiconductor device design
Strong background in semiconductor device physics and CMOS technologies
Comprehensive knowledge of Semiconductor Process & Device Physics with special emphasis on power devices
Experience with FEM simulation tools and system-level simulation software
Fluent English language skills, good German skills are additionally desirable
