* Lead complex prototyping projects and contribute to detailed design of UAV systems.
* Develop software (apps and embedded) to enable feasibility testing and system validation.
* Integrate new hardware into existing drone architecture for evaluation and testing.
* Assess requirements for new capabilities and create integration concepts.
* Define test strategies, design advanced test stands, and lead test campaigns.
* Verify prototypes and first articles against technical and regulatory requirements.
* Provide technical documentation and recommendations for design improvements.
What you bring to the team:
* Degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering; advanced degree is a plus.
* 5+ years of experience in prototyping, system validation, or product development, ideally in UAVs, robotics, or aerospace.
* Solid knowledge of digital and analog electronics and embedded systems.
* Proficiency in programming (C/C++, Python, MATLAB, C#) and test automation.
* Experience with CAD tools (CATIA and Fusion preferred) and rapid prototyping technologies.
* Familiarity with Arduino, sensors, avionics, and communication systems.
* Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
* Fluent in English; German is a plus.
