Position
We are looking to bring on board the Site Manager, responsible for the overall management and performance of the Site to achieve the financial, production, operational and S.H.E.Q. targets within a chemical processing environment.
The Site Manager will maintain the highest SHE standards, ensure operational excellence and production efficiency, lead an develop site personnel and manage stakeholder relationships and site performance.
Main responsibilities, and not limited, include:
* Full responsibility over the P&L of the site, maximizing Ebitda and controlling costs.
* Overall responsibility for the management of all staff including Operations, Laboratory, Engineering, Health and Safety and administrative support (a total of 40 staff).
* Ensure all plant operations comply with SHE regulations and internal standards.
* Lead and promote a strong safety culture through exemplary behavior.
* Ensure appropriate staffing levels and employee qualifications.
* Oversee training and development programs for all employees.
* Guarantee safe, efficient and high-use operation of production facilities.
* Ensure production output meets required quality standards.
* Implement and enforce corporate policies and procedures.
* Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including partners and clients.
* Develop and manage the annual site budget.
* Ensure proper planning and execution of maintenance and shutdown activities.
* Support project execution in collaboration with the project department.
* Assist the sales department in product comercialization efforts.
Education:
* A Chemical Engineering or Chemistry degree is required.
* An MBA or a Masters in Direction of Operations is preferred.
Experience:
* 10 to 15 years of experience managing chemical operations in high-risk or major hazard facilities.
* Experience in fine-chemicals or distillation is a plus.
* Experience handling hazardous materials.
* Familiar with SHEQ systems and regulations.
* Fluent in English.
* Fluent in German.
