This role (located in Hamburg) is instrumental in the company’s efforts to grow sales and market share by its focus on veterinary recommendation and ‘Brand Recommended, Used, and Trusted Most Often’ (BRUT) leadership, by providing education, technical and business development support to the profession, and by bringing veterinary insights to the company. The PVAM DACH tailors the strategy provided by the Regional PVA director to the country situation and commercial grid in order to deliver Hill’s programs focused on all parts of the veterinary profession (schools, students, KTL, practicing veterinarians (general and specialist), trade & professional associations, nurses, as well as internal audiences), integrates these programmes into each country’s commercial organisation, and accomplishes the yearly KPI/goals set by division and the respective country’s GM. Your responsibilities: Lead the PVA Team: Setting SMART individual objectives and providing ongoing coaching and development with focus on our LIFT leadership principles and establishing a positive, winning growth mindset for the DACH PVA team, including to meet their KPI’s Technical & Scientific Affairs: Preparation and dissemination of scientific, evidence-based information for internal and external audience to highlight the study-based foundation of Hill‘s products and to leverage Hill’s product superiority Establish and execute a Continuing Education strategy for veterinarians, nurses, and students including both online and offline events and focus on both technical, practice/business development and communication topics Ensure that all Hill’s contacts and communications to customers and consumers consistently meet the professional, ethical and regulatory standards demanded by the veterinary community and the corporation (incl. CP Code of Conduct, FCPA, anti-bribery, pet food regulations, etc) Academic & Professional Affairs: Foster solid relationships and networks with key DACH professional associations, Key Thought Leaders (KTL) and specialists at universities and in private practice to maximise the company’s influence and impact. Lead Congress and Local Scientific Event strategy and design/planning process to grow professional awareness and engagement with Hill’s products and scientific superiority. Long Term PVA Strategy: Champions all European professional digital initiatives, leading to full implementation of all professional digital initiatives and increased engagement with ‘Gen Y & Z’ Work with the region and input into innovations and technical requirements to effectively cascade to local markets for professional and consumer targeted usage.
