Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Fiscal Manager to lead our accounting team in Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all financial accounting and reporting.

1. Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable.

2. Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings in accordance with US GAAP and German GAAP (HGB).
\
3. Oversee account reconciliations and ensure compliance with global accounting standards and reporting policies.
\
4. Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury processes in coordination with global treasury teams.
\
5. Lead or support ERP integration and process automation initiatives.
\
6. Provide financial insights to support business decision-making.
\
7. Attract, develop, and retain local accounting staff.
\
8. Coordinate audits with internal and external auditors.
\
9. Ensure full tax compliance, including VAT, corporate income tax, and social security filings.

10. Prepare and review statutory financial statements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

11. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (ACCA, CPA) preferred.
\
12. 10-15 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
\
13. In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and German accounting standards (HGB).
\
14. Strong knowledge of German tax regulations.
\
15. Proven experience in statutory reporting, audits, and compliance.
\
16. Demonstrated success in business process improvements and efficiencies.
\
17. Strong ERP experience, ideally SAP S/4 Hana.
\
18. Excellent Excel skills and strong data management capability.
\
19. Fluent in English and German.
\
20. Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
\
21. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment.
