A glimpse into your daily work As a AutoCAD Application Specialist (m/f/d), you will participate in daily stand-up meetings to align on goals and clarify open questions, followed by strategic updates from management. Your focus will be on assigned user stories, where you will apply your expertise to solve challenges, optimize applications, and develop new features.
Close collaboration with Product Owners and interaction with Business Owners are essential to refine requirements and ensure that solutions meet user needs. You will document progress in Azure DevOps and plan next steps to maintain a productive and well-aligned team environment.
Your contribution Central point of contact for all AutoCAD-related topics within the internal team Continuous communication with development teams to identify new requirements and features for engineering applications and systems Introduction and integration of new functions and features into the architecture of the engineering design tool Implementation of new functions, modules, and features including testing and documentation Support in development and configuration within the AutoCAD environment, as well as professional guidance for users and customers
Your profile Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a comparable field; several years of experience as an AutoCAD specialist is an advantage Extensive experience working in agile development teams and collaborating with process specialists and solution architects Strong knowledge of Autodesk products, particularly AutoCAD and its derivatives Experience in developing CAD interfaces for applications such as Creo, NX, and (AutoCAD must have) Confident use of DevOps tools, especially Azure DevOps; knowledge of BIM and CAD data formats is a plus Very good English skills (written and spoken); German at B1 level; additional languages are a plus
