Your Tasks:
1. Administration, development and further improvements to the LAN / WAN infrastructure
2. Administration and troubleshooting of the Wi-Fi infrastructure
3. Implementation and management of the decentralized Next Gen firewall solution (Check Point)
4. Ensuring a stable and efficient network landscape
5. Project management in the field of network and security
6. Responsibility for the integration of new locations or companies
7. Control and coordination of external service providers
Your Profile:
8. Personality: Ability to work in a team, flexibility, motivation
9. Working: Independent, team-oriented and structured work
10. Qualification: Successfully completed training as an IT specialist (IHK) or comparable / university education of Bachelor degree in Information Engineering
11. Experience and Know-How: 5+ years of professional experience in network administration Strong capabilities in project management Experience in the execution of larger network / infrastructure projects Experience with the products: Cisco (Switches, WiFi, ISE) Meraki (Switches, WiFi) Check Point Next Gen Firewalls SD-WAN (Velocloud) In-depth knowledge of network protocols / services (TCP / IP, routing, VLAN)
12. Languages: Fluency in English, German is a plus
13. Working: Highly motivated, well organized, resourceful and proactive. Strong sense of responsibility and comfortable working independently Excellent communications skills
