DSJ Global are seeking a strategic and experienced Outsourcing Procurement Manager (German-Speaking) (m/f/d) on a permanent basis for a world-renowned investment bank with several tens of billions under management.
This role sits within their growing IT Procurement function, with a specific focus on managing third-party provider relationships and outsourcing contracts across critical IT services.
The bank is investing heavily in its procurement capabilities and is hiring across two key roles:
* IT Category Manager
* Outsourcing Procurement Manager
Outsourcing Procurement Manager
You will play a pivotal role in overseeing outsourcing engagements, ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory frameworks, and driving supplier performance across high-value IT contracts. The position offers a strategic scope, working closely with senior stakeholders and supported by contract management and sourcing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead procurement activities for outsourced IT services, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance management.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., DORA, EBA guidelines) and internal governance policies.
* Develop and execute outsourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and risk mitigation goals.
* Collaborate with legal, risk, and compliance teams to manage third-party risk and contractual obligations.
* Drive supplier performance through KPIs, SLAs, and regular reviews.
* Support transformation initiatives within the procurement function, contributing to process improvement and digitalisation.
Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience in IT procurement or outsourcing management, ideally within financial services or other regulated sectors.
* Proven track record in managing third-party IT providers and complex outsourcing contracts.
* Fluent in German, with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Familiarity with regulatory requirements impacting outsourcing in financial institutions.
* Ability to work on-site from multiple sites in Germany.
Additional Qualifications:
* Experience with supplier risk management tools and procurement platforms.
* Knowledge of EU and German regulatory environments related to IT and outsourcing.
* Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
