Your tasks
9. You will be responsible for the scheduling of current transport orders for inbound and outbound traffic in the area of national and international road freight transport.
10. You will be responsible for purchasing freight space from national and international carriers and forwarding agents in a cost-optimized and targeted manner.
11. You will manage the systemic processing of transport orders in SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM), which is used to manage, invoice, monitor and execute transport services.
12. You will monitor all scheduling processes and the maintenance of all service commitments to branches, warehouses and customers.
13. You will be responsible for freight-related administrative activities such as master data maintenance and booking time slots.
14. You are the first point of contact for the branches in transport matters.
15. You will work on projects to optimize the logistics and transport network
16. You will carry out portfolio management of the transport service providers used to intensify service provider loyalty.
Your profile
17. You have completed a commercial apprenticeship (preferably as a forwarding agent).
18. You have initial experience in the field of transportation planning and transportation purchasing.
19. You are confident in using MS Office and SAP TM
20. Ideally, you have practical experience in the transportation planning of steel trade products.
21. You are characterized by a high level of concentration, even under deadline pressure.
22. You have a strong service orientation - good communication skills are a matter of course for you.
23. You have already demonstrated your ability to work in a team and your social skills on several occasions.
