60-70 K Euro
Your tasks:
* Work alongside clients to establish engineering requirements and assess potential structural solutions.
* Conduct early-stage and conceptual sizing calculations for aircraft components.
* Perform stress and fatigue assessments to meet certification standards for airframe designs.
* Use Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software (Nastran) to perform simulations and extract internal loads.
* Execute traditional hand calculations based on recognized industry methods (Bruhn, Niu, Roark, ESDU).
* Draft, review, and validate technical stress documentation, including reports, engineering drawings, and deliverables.
* Innovate and validate new stress analysis approaches.
* Prepare reports for certification, outline test strategies, and validate design schematics.
Your profile:
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with a focus on Aeronautical, Mechanical or similar
* At least 4 years of practical experience in structural stress analysis within the aerospace sector.
* Experience in structural repair design
* Proficiency in Nastran and Hyperworks
* Good organizational skills
* Fluent English
* German would be a plus
