You want to prevent goods from disappearing from our warehouse inventory, and you enjoy working with people, handling security equipment, and continuously improving our security measures? You actively contribute to protecting our company’s assets and strengthening the security culture at our site. Your work is characterized by a motivating team spirit based on appreciation, respect, and openness. As an internal Security Officer, you are part of our team that works together with internal and external security partners to ensure site security, guard services, personnel checks, and overall safety at our locations.
Deine Aufgaben
* You lead the external security team responsible for on-site property protection.
* As part of the guard service, you monitor logistics facilities and regularly conduct personnel, material, and video checks.
* You manage and monitor the intrusion alarm system (IAS).
* You are the first point of contact for internal and external security-related inquiries and ideas and are responsible for ensuring compliance with internal security regulations.
* You identify and monitor new risks and abuses related to goods security.
* You oversee processes and measures for theft prevention, assess their effectiveness, and continuously improve them.
Deine Fähigkeiten
* You have successfully completed the recognized IHK certification examination according to §34a GewO or are currently in the process of obtaining it.
* You have professional experience in a similar role; experience in logistics is an advantage.
* You already have experience in the security and surveillance industry, particularly in personnel control.
* Respectful and professional interaction is important to you, and you possess strong interpersonal skills, empathy, excellent conflict-management abilities, and a confident, de-escalating demeanor.
* You have an impeccable record, act with discretion and responsibility, and work independently with a structured and analytical approach.
* High IT affinity and proficiency with common Office programs are required; experience with warehouse management and merchandise data systems is an advantage.
* Willingness to work day and shift schedules (5 days, 40 hours per week from Monday to Saturday between 5:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.), including occasional on-call duty, as well as mobility compatible with working hours.
* Ability to align actions and decisions with personal values and convictions.
* Ability to identify improvement potential and implement changes to increase productivity and effectiveness.
* Very good English language skills are important for communication within the team, with employees, and with external partners. German and/or French is a major advantage.
