WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Due to the strategic realignment of the Coatings business unit, a dedicated finance department is being established. This presents an exciting opportunity to develop and shape the finance organization from its foundation. Therefore, we are looking for a Global Real Estate Manager with the following objectives: You will manage the global real estate portfolio to align with strategic business objectives, optimizing space utilization and cost efficiency as the dedicated function for the Coatings business. You will oversee and negotiate high-value property leases and acquisitions, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with organizational goals. By coordinating the planning with business units to meet evolving needs, you will ensure that real estate activities support corporate objectives. Moreover, you will compile and analyze real estate data to generate insights that support strategic decision-making. You will define real estate processes and requirements and establish governance across Coatings real estate activities. You will serve as the interface to external service providers and outsourcing partners. Last but not least, you will ensure that the real estate IT infrastructure at Coatings is effective and efficient. WHAT YOU OFFER university degree in Real Estate Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Certifications such as Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) or Real Estate Broker License are advantageous minimum 5 years’ experience in real estate management and operations within a multinational corporation Experience in the chemicals industry or related sectors is beneficial, particularly during transitions or carve-outs strong understanding of global real estate markets, property management principles, and regulatory compliance requirements proficiency in real estate management software and advanced MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) skills excellent negotiation and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex transactions and provide strategic insights strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders proficiency in English and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and dynamic environment high readiness to travel WHAT WE OFFER We offer an attractive salary with individual benefits such as performance-related bonuses or a share program.
