We’re looking for a Treasury Dealer for our Treasury Department to join our team!
Play a pivotal role in managing the bank’s liquidity and risk while engaging in dynamic capital markets activities. This role offers exposure to a wide range of financial products and strategic interactions across SMBC Group.
Business Area
This role is responsible for the asset and liability management of SMBC EU AG and its branches. It ensures liquidity and risk mitigation through trading and strategic support, contributing to the bank’s financial stability and performance.
Our role will enable you to:
Interact with senior stakeholders including the Executive Board, Global Markets, Risk Management, and Compliance teams. You will also collaborate with internal departments and external clients across SMBC Group globally.
Position Description
In this role you will be responsible for:
* Managing the asset and liability profile of SMBC EU and its branches.
* Trading various financial products to hedge FX and interest rate risks.
* Supporting stakeholders with capital market inquiries and maintaining high service standards.
For you to succeed in the role, you’ll need to have:
* Strong analytical and numerical skills with a deep understanding of capital markets.
* High risk awareness and knowledge of financial product pricing.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
What will you bring to the role?
Deep knowledge of project finance, capital markets, and financial regulations.
Experience in trading FX, interest rate products, and managing liquidity.
Strong networking and multicultural awareness for handling international clients.
Desirable:
Experience with financial modelling and compliance-related issues.
Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
