About the Role
This Senior Business Development Representative role plays a pivotal part in identifying and engaging potential customers, driving new business opportunities, and contributing to the overall growth of the organization.
You will be responsible for prospecting and generating new client leads while guiding and mentoring peers.
The role involves building and managing your own pipeline of prospects, sharing expertise to support other team members, and collaborating with Account Executives and Marketing teams.
Responsibilities
* Engage with mid-market and enterprise clients via various communication channels.
* Establish contact with key stakeholders and introduce them to our technology solutions.
* Work alongside your team and manager to build a compelling story, drive interest, and deliver meetings for Account Executives with quality stakeholders.
* Support the BDR team by providing messaging, best practices, technical assistance, and strategy guidance, aligning with global and country-specific objectives.
* Manage account handovers effectively, ensuring seamless communication and maintaining a strong pipeline for new prospective clients.
* Articulate how our solutions align with customer needs and use cases.
* Set meetings with potential clients matching the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
* Meet daily outbound activity minimums, including calls, emails, and social outreach, to build and maintain a strong pipeline.
* Adapt your communication style to different audiences.
* Maintain collaborative relationships with Account Executives, Solutions Engineers, and the Marketing team.
* Ensure opportunity and contact information is completed in CRM systems for smooth handoffs to Account Executives.
* Participate in industry events to engage with prospects and expand the network.
* Qualify leads and uncover opportunities using the MEDDPICC framework, focusing on pain points and metric proof points.
Requirements
* Experience in a BDR sales role or similar.
* A drive to hit & exceed personal targets.
* Confidence in managing your own territory & identifying new market opportunities.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
* A can-do attitude.
* Natural curiosity and desire to learn about client needs and build a greater understanding of the market.
* A self-starter comfortable working independently and collaboratively with sales and marketing teams.
* A desire to help colleagues hit their targets through hands-on support with messaging, best practices, technical assistance, and strategy.
