Job Responsibilities
* Oversee all financial matters within the area of responsibility.
* Prepare financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual) and balance sheets according to IFRS/HGB.
* Handle all tax returns, including VAT.
* Create other declarations like Intrastat.
* Collaborate with banks, tax consultants, auditors, and other external contacts.
* Manage cash and receivables.
* Oversee fixed assets.
* Ensure compliance with standards, laws, and internal controls.
* HR matters
* Lead a small team.
Job Requirements
* Completed commercial training or B.Sc. in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
* Certified accountant qualification.
* Several years of accounting experience.
* In-depth knowledge of HGB/IFRS.
* Proficient with accounting software (preferably AX Dynamics/D365) and MS Office (especially Excel).
* Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented.
* Proactive in addressing problems and improving operations.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
* Skilled in conflict resolution and comfortable in an international, cross-functional, dynamic environment.
* Fluent in English and German.
