Senior Managing Consultant - SuccessFactors Payroll (m/w/d)
At IBM Consulting, a career is built on long‑term client relationships and close collaboration across industries. As a SAP SuccessFactors Consultant, you serve as a client‑facing practitioner who sells, leads, and implements expert services using IBM’s offerings and technologies.
Your Role And Responsibilities
* Design, configure, and deliver payroll solutions using SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment to business requirements.
* Act as a trusted advisor on payroll process transformation, compliance, and technology optimisation, leading complex, multi‑country implementations.
* Lead discovery workshops and translate business and legislative requirements into functional designs for ECP and related modules.
* Serve as functional lead for Payroll workstreams in large‑scale SuccessFactors programs, managing end‑to‑end delivery, testing, parallel runs, training, deployment, and go‑live support.
* Oversee integration design between ECP and other systems such as Employee Central, Time & Attendance, Finance/ERP, and third‑party providers.
* Ensure payroll solutions adhere to country‑specific legislation, tax regulations, and reporting requirements; implement controls, validations and audit processes.
* Facilitate change management efforts and provide client engagement through advisory, presentations, and training sessions.
* Monitor SAP SuccessFactors release updates, recommend enhancements, and lead post‑implementation optimisation initiatives.
* Mentor junior payroll consultants and contribute to internal best practice documentation.
* Support pre‑sales activities, including proposals, demonstrations, and scoping exercises.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
* 8–10+ years payroll experience, with at least 5+ years in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll; experience in SAP HCM and H4S4 Payroll and Time Management is beneficial.
* Proven track record in multi‑country payroll implementations and support.
* Deep understanding of payroll and time management processes, compliance frameworks, and statutory reporting requirements.
* Experience with payroll integrations to time management, HR core systems, and finance applications.
* Excellent workshop facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work across business and technical teams to deliver complex solutions.
* Fluent in written and spoken English and German.
