Regional Sales Project Development Manager (EU&AF) (Compression)
As the Regional Project Development Manager for Siemens Energy Compression, you will lead technical sales efforts, focusing on sales and solution development. Your role involves achieving sales targets, guiding the regional sales team, and exploring new business opportunities with key clients.
Collaborate with customer relationship team, bid management, engineering, and global product centers. Develop technical solutions, cost modelling, & valued proposals while also working in close collaboration with our global operational team located in the Americas, Africa, Middle East, & Asia Pacific to deliver order entry growth & operational excellence.
This position will directly report to the Global Head of Sales & Bid Management for the Siemens Energy Compression division.
Lead the sales development process for complex projects related to centrifugal compressors, reciprocating compressors, geared compressors, and gas engines, focusing on opportunity discovery, qualification, and strategy development.
Partner with senior leaders to roll out a holistic sales strategy, predict service business in Europe with Salesforce, and manage project handovers to commercial and execution teams.
Monitor market trends, perform financial analysis, report on key performance indicators, and meet sales targets while participating in SE business growth initiatives as needed.
Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field is preferred. Must have at least 7 years of experience in technical sales, marketing, business development, or strategy in oil & gas, power generation, or industrial services sectors, proving success in diverse markets.
Proficient in analysis, organization, and leadership, consistently delivering projects on time with high quality. Travel up to 50% locally and globally, fluent in English plus extra languages, proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce, and Tableau.
