For our Events team in London, we are looking to hire a
Junior Events Executive
What will you do?
* Supporting the events team in running the conference programme to include (but not limited to):
o Liaising with companies attending conferences – being their main point of contact and organising their logistics
o Attending all major conferences (travel required)
o Assisting with meeting turn-around where required
o Helping on the registration desk when required
o Set up and tear down
* Running webinars, smaller seminars and events as well as the ticketing calendar
* Taking on the BerenbergKids community projects
* Ad hoc tasks and activities that support the continual development of the Events Management team
* Assisting with couriers and general stock count
What are we looking for?
* Previous office experience in a similar environment (events knowledge beneficial but not essential)
* Strong MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
* Excellent time management and organisational skills; able to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
* Professional and well-presented with a strong telephone manner and ability to liaise with clients and colleagues at all levels
* Proactive, efficient, and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Trustworthy, adaptable, and able to work under pressure while handling confidential information and occasional out-of-hours work
