KG Organization EVP Global Functions Business Unit Strategic Procurement Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day The Head of Procurement Region North Europe is responsible for consistently demonstration ofstrong procurement leadership for assigned categories/commodities to achieve maximum cost?out, optimized value chain and robust, resilient and efficient supply base as well as enabling, coaching and maintaining high performing regional teams to exceed cost targets, drive early procurement/supplier involvement, global demand pooling and foster x-functional and crossorganizational units' collaboration.How You’ll Make an Impact
31. Manage procurement employees in the North Europe team within Regional Management (RM) Procurement and tactical & operational procurement activities, utilizing both internal employees and outsourcing partners.
32. Attract, develop, and retain your team’s talent pool while advancing capabilities, market knowledge, and skill sets. Initiate and support improvement initiatives, such as the introduction of requisition tools in the region.
33. Ensure procurement compliance and that correct purchasing processes are defined, communicated, and followed within Siemens Energy’s regional organization, including reporting and controlling defined information like spend forecasts and savings.
34. Secure the implementation of regional supply and commodity strategies relevant to your responsibilities.
35. Identify and manage procurement risks, opportunities, and market forces to mitigate potential damage and exploit opportunities through tailored actions.
36. Lead regional tendering, contracting, and supplier activities, including supplier identification, introduction, qualification, and development.
What You Bring
37. Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
38. Several years of relevant working experience in procurement or commercial areas.
39. Experience in digitalized procurement processes and systems; familiarity with SAP Ariba Guided Buying, SAP Backend Systems, or other digital procurement tools is beneficial.
40. Excellent managerial and communication skills for interacting with internal business and external collaboration partners, as well as suppliers at the CxO level.
41. Proven leadership skills for managing a cross-country and diverse team.
42. Fluent in English in both spoken and written communication.
