Job Description:
As a Specialist Accounting/IT, you will play a vital role in our organization's Finance team. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the interface with our IT department, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange between systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Define accounting-specific requirements and collaborate with the IT department for their implementation
* Serve as the primary point of contact for interfaces with other SAP and non-SAP systems
* Establish relationships with stakeholders across various group companies, including Germany, Sweden, and the US
* Act as the SAP Key User Function for FI/CO, providing expertise and support to the finance team
* Contribute to the improvement of SAP S/4HANA Finance processes and procedures
* Develop and document existing processes and systems, ensuring they are aligned with business objectives
* Supervise subject-specific special topics and projects, driving results-oriented solutions
* Implement and process requirements related to control actions, maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity
* Maintain the central Chart of Accounts and reporting tools for Volkswagen AG, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
* Participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, providing critical insights for informed decision-making
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree in Economics or equivalent commercial training, supplemented by further education as an Accountant
* Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting, with a strong understanding of IFRS and HGB
* Advanced knowledge of SAP S/4HANA FI/CO, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable recommendations
* High affinity for IT, with the capacity to adapt quickly to new technologies and advancements
* Entrepreneurial mindset, coupled with exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
