Job Description: We are looking for a Senior Simulation Software Engineer (d/f/m) to join our team in Manching, who will take part in the definition and implementation of complex simulation architectures for the A400M Programme. You will be part of the A400M Full Flight Simulator (FFS) Military Software Package team and work on the future training simulator developments, including the Block Ugrade 0 and Mid-Life Upgrade activities. The A400M simulators will play a role in the development of the Future Air Combat System (FCAS). Therefore, collaboration with internal Airbus stakeholders to modernize an existing installed base of training devices (FFS) to use state-of-the-art technologies is planned. At the core, our the simulations are distributed real-time applications. Most of our software is written in C and C++, but Python, Java, Groovy or Bash are also used for certain tools. Desired skills and qualifications Degree in Computer Science or similar At least 5 years of relevant professional experience Proven experience in Software architecture, design and development Excellent C++ skills.
