Process Engineering in contactor manufacturing environment
A day in the Life:
1. Lead the process engineering team of the contactor manufacturing production
2. Manage resources in regard to support of production, process improvement and product qualifications
3. Optimize and continuously improve current processes and technologies to ensure highest product quality and reasonable unit cost at 100% delivery service
4. Qualify, validate and implement new raw materials, products and processes
5. Plan, manage and realize projects
6. Drive root-cause analysis and structured problem solving as well as in-depth process analysis across the contactor manufacturing area to identify performance, quality, and yield improvements
7. Cross functional contact for internal interfaces within the international company network
Keys to Success:
8. Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering
9. Professional experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment (technical plastics / polymer chemistry)
10. Good analytical skills and a structured, autonomous way to work
11. Experience in project management and process optimization based on statistical process analysis incl. Lean Six Sigma knowledge
12. Leadership experience
13. Strength in communication skills, team-orientation as well as persuasiveness and leadership
14. Very good command of German (spoken and written); good working knowledge of English
